You can allow users to request for additional services when they make a Room
resource booking.
For example:
beverages for meeting attendees
food catering for a workshop
cleaning services after a corporate event
sign language interpreter for a media release
This is optional, and up to the needs of your agency.
To view the additional service presets available for your agency:
On the side navigation bar, select Resources
Select Additional services under the Resource presets section
Currently, there are 8 common presets for additional services:
Light Refreshments
Beverages
Snacks
Disposable Crockery
Porcelain Crockery
Trash Bags
Stationary Set
AV Support
These presets were created for your convenience, as they represent services that are common among many agencies.
If the common preset applies to your agency, you can assign them to resources. If it does not apply to your agency, you do not have to use them.
You cannot edit or delete common presets. This is because they are shared among all agencies.
If your agency offers an additional service that is not on the list of common presets, you can create one.
The preset you create will only be used for your agency. However, you can only delete it if it is not assigned to any resource.
Additional services must be assigned to resources before users can request for it.
If you create the additional service Cleaning services
but it is not assigned to any resource, users will not be able to request for it.
If Cleaning services
is assigned to the resource Roof Garden
, users can request for it when they are making a booking for Roof Garden
.
